Adjacent to the Old Hall is the Woodland Bar, our wonderfully cosy self-contained licensed bar. With its stone walls, plush plum upholstery, flickering fire and panoramic views of the woodland beyond, it serves as the perfect location for pre and post event drinks receptions.

An exclusive venue merits an exceptional bar, and we are justifiably proud of the breadth of our beverage offering. We serve Welsh Smooth, Strongbow Dark Fruits, Inch’s, Welsh Large, Birra Moretti, Stella Artois, Heineken, Glamorgan Brewery Real Ale, and Guiness, as well as a fine collection of bottled beers and ciders and an exclusive array of spirits, several of which are really rather special and exclusive in Cardiff to Pencoed House Estate.

 

The latest addition to the Woodland Bar is our Whisky Library, in partnership with the independent family owned Glenfarclas distillery, sixth generation producers of Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky in traditional Speyside style. Much loved by connoisseurs, our Whisky Library is unique to South Wales and brings a distinctive dimension to the bar.
